To register, you’ll need your basic details (Name, DOB, Address) and your NHS number if you have it. This allows us to link securely to your GP surgery records.
✓ Is the NHS Prescription service free?

The delivery service is completely free. You only pay the standard NHS prescription levy if you usually pay for your medication. If you are exempt, it is 100% free.
✓ How do I download the app?

You can download the Medicine4U app by searching for us on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app allows you to manage your medication on the go.

Managing Your NHS Prescription

✓ Do I still need to request my prescription from my GP?

Yes, you still need to request your repeat medication when you are running low. You can do this via the NHS app, your GP portal, or through our app. Once approved, your GP sends it to us automatically.
✓ How long before my prescription runs out should I reorder?

We recommend reordering at least 7 days before you run out. This ensures enough time for your GP to approve the request and for us to deliver your medication.
✓ Can I change my nominated pharmacy?

Yes. You are in control of your nomination. You can switch to Medicine4U or back to a local pharmacy at any time through your account or the NHS app.

Receiving Your Prescription
